    Urban Luxembourg URBAN, Luxembourg

JTDA we were appointed by Tom and Ray Hickey to design second site for the legendary Urban brand in Belval Luxembourg. On the site of an old steel works the bar reflects it environment, it provides drinking, dining and dancing throughout the day and night. Working with local contractors Prefalux, we sourced what we could locally and imported as necessary from the UK and Ireland.

    CINEMA DELUXE, Boston Massachusetts

Continuing on our relationship with Showcase Cinemas in the UK, we were commissioned to design the flagship Legacy Place 16 screen multiplex in Boston. Setting new standards in customer service, design and style in the cinematic industry CDL Legacy has become a landmark in Showcase Cinemas Portfolio. Our involvement extended throughout the public and retail spaces into the Bars and Restaurant areas. It further reinforced our commitment to working overseas as and when necessary.

Lucky voice, Brighton LUCKY VOICE, Brighton

Lucky voice opened in June and has quickly become the place to let you hair down in Brighton.

Building on the strength of the brand we oversaw the development and design of the 7 acoustically sealed private Karaoke pods and the creation of their center piece bar in the lower ground floor of this four storey building. Each floor is designed to offer a different experience to the hardened Karaoke singer.

    Embargo, London EMBARGO, London

Embargo has long been a destination venue for the Chelsea set; its reincarnation has created a whole new level of service and environment. The scheme required a complete strip out of the existing site, re orientation of access, flow, bars and the creation of new spaces including the famous Gold Room. Fitted out with a bespoke Cigar Humidor and private lockers for regulars it offers a private drinking and dancing environment.

Cinema De Lux SHOWCASE CINEMA DELUX - DERBY

JTDA were commissioned to design the public spaces at CDL Derby as part of Showcase Cinema’s drive to providing a total entertainment experience that extends beyond the auditorium. This has put us at the forefront of cinema design and creates an unprecedented offer within the industry. As part of this we created designs that match the aspirations of their customers and provide them with high-class leisure facilities that better any available on the high street.

The designs form a brand template both in the loareas and in the Directors Hall and Studio One.

We are currently completing work on five other sites throughout the UK and USA.

Mint Leaf Lounge MINT LEAF LOUNGE

The second of the Mint Leaf Restaurant Group’s developments. This site, in the City of London, carries on the aspirations of the brand, fine dining and fine lounging. In a grade 2 listed banking hall the space is set over 3 floors. The main dining hall is on the ground floor and has a 16m long bar and open kitchen as its focal point. Using 4m high slate and pebble cladding the site is an iconicdevelopment for the city. The champagne bar sits on the mezzanine overlooking the main space. In luxurious black snake-skin the booth areas provide a sexy retreat from the main dining and bar area.

This is an exclusive and understated space that blends american walnut with river washed pebble wall cladding. The main kitchen and ancillary spaces sit in the lower ground floor area. The total development occupies 8000 sq ft.

    Revolution Richmond REVOLUTION - RICHMOND

JTDA have worked with Revolution for nearly a decade and Richmond is the latest in over 27 sites which we have been involved with. Reflecting the most up to date incarnation of the brand, it maintains a casual class that many strive to achieve. Over two floors, the site has the dramatic backdrop of the River Thames as it’s setting. We have utilised classic tin ceiling tiles as the umbrella for the ground floor contrasted with a solid marble bar front and top. The first floor is all stripped bare brick with reclaimed furniture and a rosewood bar.

Its the perfect place to while away hours with cocktails over looking the river.

    Sakura Reading SAKURA - READING

Building upon the success of our first design for Sakura in Lincoln, we exploited the opportunity to create a new site in Reading in the place of an old ‘Fez Club’. The multi-level floor plan lent itself perfectly to the Sakura format of a soft and sexy aesthetic with varying individual characters between each level to maintain and evolve the experiece of the customers. Entry to the venue comes from street level. Immediately guests are greeted buy a comfortable but sophisticated fixed seating area with an oriental theme, ideal for daytime eating and socialising. The open staircase leads directly to two levels, one below, where another lounge area can be found, and one above which contains a seperate bar and dance floor for those seeking a premium night-time club experience.

The client (Eclectic Bars) are looking into expanding their franchise with the help of JTDA in the near future.

Abstract Edinburgh JTDA have recently completed a number of new projects ranging from 24 in london to Abstract in Edinburgh.

Revolution Deansgate lock opened its doors in July, having aquired the adjacent site Revolution is now double its previous site and has benifited from a new design concept. Offering dining for over 100 on the ground floor the site has a casual loose fit laid back style on the ground floor, with feature chandeliers, eclectic furniture and a startling white bar.
